About The Society of Ancient Fingerprints
Aims
The aim for Ancient Fingerprints Society is to promote knowledge and
information about forensic archaeology in general and especially
fingerprints found in archeological contexts.
Ancient Fingerprints Society is an international organization with an
aim to reach members in many different states and regions.
Activities
Ancient Fingerprints Society organizes seminars, conventions and
lectures to stimulate international debate and cooperation in the field
of forensic archaeology. The Society will also produce an academic journal and maintain
a website.
History
The Society was formed in 2004 after contacts between archaeologists in Sweden, Czech Republic and Great Britain.
The first priority of the society is the Journal, of which the first issue was published in August 2007.
Membership
Everybody interested in archaeology and/or fingerprints are welcome to become members of our society.
